About

Life is interesting we never know what is in store for us; we are all in this together! Pour yourself a cup of coffee and share your experiences.

Hi, I’m Wendy Brabon and welcome to Coffee with Wendy!  This blog began as I looked for an outlet to write about my experience in donating a kidney on August 16th of 2012. At the time of the donation, I was probably in the worst position in every way including; my business, finances and personal challenges. I went through the surgery and came out stronger and more grateful that I was able to donate on behalf of my brother Tim.

Through this process, I learned about the needs of transplant patients while staying at the “Family House” at UPMC in Pittsburgh PA.  My vision for this blog is intended to create awareness and share stories around transplantation. I encourage our readers to share their stories, thoughts and knowledge about others that have gone through similar challenges in transplant.

Thanks you!
